Hello Shiva
ReplyDeleteIt was my first attempt in baking a cake and thank you so much for the clear instruction in the video. However, the cake top craked during the first 10 minutes into the oven and I experienced hard crust around the corners. I have turned on the oven even before the batter was ready, could it be due to over-hearted temperature?
Thank you and looking forward to hearing from you :)
Dear Pamela,
ReplyDeleteThanks for liking the video. A good cake depends on temperature. SO if you put the cake in very high temperature then the cake will rise too fast and will break open. The best way to bake a cake is to Google the timing for baking a cake as well as the temperature. It takes 20 minutes to preheat the oven but every oven is different, so you can preheat the oven for just 10 minutes and then slowly let the cake bake for 45 -60 minutes. DO the knife test to check if the cake is cooked or not.
Hope this helps.
